Parnian wins 3rd place at UCLA Grad Slam 2025 for her talk "Brainwashing: How Fluid Mechanics Cleans Our Brain".

Grad Slam is UCLA's campus-wide competition where PhD students present their research to a general audience in just three minutes. Parnian's talk on the glymphatic system — the brain's fluid-based waste-clearance network — earned her 3rd place, bringing recognition to CFIP's work in biofluid mechanics and brain health.
