The following is a HELP file for the Taiwan DAILY streamflow data set.

The data set consist of daily streamflow data for several streamflow
stations in Taiwan for varying time periods. They are free of
upstream regulation and generally represent unimpaired streamflow
conditions. For a complete description of the station characteristics,
see the twstat.htm file.

These data were supplied by Prof. Ben-Jei Tsuang at the National Chung
Hsing University,Taichung, Taiwan.

Each line of the data has the following format:

blank 1X
Year I4
blank 1X
Month I2
Daily values 31(I7)

Note:	The number of days in the months varies depending on the year
	and month (e.g. Jan. 1956 = 31 days, Feb. 1956 = 29 days)

The daily data are based on a standard calendar year and are
average daily streamflow in m^3/s.
