UCLA Engineering: Alumni Fund for Student Projects

Engineering alumni provide financial assistance to student groups through the Alumni Fund for Student Projects, a fund administered by the Engineering Alumni Association (EAA).

In 2008-09, the EAA Alumni-Student Networking Committee awarded more than $20,000 to support a range of engineering student activities and projects.

Each year, the EAA Alumni-Student Networking Committee evaluates proposals submitted by student organizations, and awards funding based on such criteria as the number of students involved in the project and the impact it has on their education. The committee works closely with the Engineering Society of the University of California (ESUC) to ensure that EAA funds complement the funds available to the student groups through ESUC.
