JHT's Editorial Board

As of July 1, 2001, the JHT Editorial Board is comprised of a Senior Technical Editor and twenty (21) Associate Technical Editors.  Typically, the Senior Technical Editor serves a five-year term, and the Associate Technical Editors serve a three-year term.  In July 2000, Professor Vijay Dhir succeeded Professor John R. Howell of the University of Texas at Austin, as JHT's Senior Technical Editor.  Senior Technical Editor Dhir's term will expire in July of the year 2005.

Currently, the JHT Editorial Office is located within the UCLA Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Los Angeles, California.  All manuscripts should be submitted to Professor Dhir at:

Professor Vijay Dhir
Senior Technical Editor
Journal of Heat Transfer
UCLA
420 Westwood Plaza
Engineering IV, RM 38-137H
Los Angeles, CA 90095-1597

The editorial office is staffed by Jenell Rae, Monday through Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm PST.  After hours, callers may leave a message on JHT's voice mail system at 310-794-7085, or via e-mail to jht@ea.ucla.edu. Authors who wish to inquire about their paper status should e-mail or call Jenell, or contact the Associate Technical Editor assigned to handle the paper's review directly.  Be sure to have the paper number (i.e., the D ####) ready when requesting information.
