General Information

This form is used to request that SEASnet add your computer to the matlab license access list with the understanding that there is a fee for the use of the license. The fee is for use of the software only. SEASnet does not offer end-user support for Matlab. Users needing assistance with software installation will be billed according to the labor rate mentioned below.

Note:

This software is not the same as the Matlab software that is installed in the SEASnet student labs. The versions and toolboxes may be different.
Please see the list of available toolboxes.
Femlab is not an available add-in option.

Requirements

• Requestor must be an HSSEAS faculty, staff or student
• Machine must be physically located in Boelter Hall, Engineering I, or Engineering IV building (VPN software will not allow you to run this software from outside of these physical locations)
• Machine must have a static IP address on the CS, EE, ICSL, or SEAS network
• Only machines configured for single-use allowed

Associated Fees for the License Period 10/01/2007-09/30/2008

Subscription Renewal

• $48 (must be submitted by 10/19/07 in order to qualify)

New Subscriptions

All new subscriptions incur a $55 initial setup fee in addition to the associated license fees:

• $103 - when purchased the second half of September through December
• $91 - when purchased January through March
• $79 - when purchased April through June
• $67 - when purchased July through the first half of September

The following additional fees may also apply:

• $55 license transfer fee
• $55/hour labor fee for installation or any questions related to installation

You may cancel your access to Matlab at any time, but no refunds will be issued. The license may be transfered to another machine for the fee mentioned above.

By submitting this request I certify that the information I have provided is correct and the requirements outlined by SEASnet have been met. In addition, I agree to pay all fees associated with this request.
