Windows Client

• Software requirements for Windows client
  • Windows Me, Windows NT Version 4.0 (SP5 and SP6a),
  • Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server,
  • Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows 2000 Datacenter Server,
  • Windows XP Professional (32 bit), Windows XP Professional (64 bit).
• Hardware requirements for Windows client
  • An Intel-based 80486 processor or Pentium-based processor (the 64-bit Windows platform requires an Itanium-based processor supporting the ACPI 2.0 64-bit fixed tables )
  • Disk space:
  • Memory: 128 MB

Linux Client

• Software requirements
  • Linux kernel 2.4.0 or higher
  • glibc 2.2 (How to check: rpm -qa | grep -i glibc)
  • libstdc++2.9.0 or higher
  • X Window System X11R6 (for end user GUI only)
  • RPM 3.0.0 or higher, 4.0
  • The following Linux distributions meet these requirements:
    • SuSE 7.2., 7.3 and 8.0
    • RedHat 7.1,7.2, 7.3 and Advanced Server v.2.1
    • Turbo Linux 7.0 and 7.5
• Hardware requirements
  • X86 based PC architecture (for example Pentium) or higher
  • Memory: 64 MB
