How to Join SWE-UCLA

In order to become a SWE member, you must become a SWE Nationals member first. There are two ways of doing this, online or in person.

Method 1: Register Online

  1. Go to »www.swe.org, scroll over the MEMBERSHIP tab and click Join
  2. A login page appears scroll down and click Become a Member (Non-member)
  3. Enter your email and name click next
  4. Create profile with California, Los Angeles, University of as your University or College 1
  5. Click Save My Profile once all required boxes (*) are filled in
  6. Choose:
    1. New Collegiate Membership in SWE: $20 (1 year membership)
    2. Collegiate to Career Membership in SWE: $50 (Entire collegiate career membership!)
  7. Click "Continue" and select "Chapter B054 - California, Los Angeles, University of"
  8. Click "Continue" and pay fee using your credit card
  9. Email SWE at »swela.membership@gmail.com to confirm your registration (please attach a copy of your receipt)

Method 2: Register In Person

  1. Pick up a membership registration form from a SWE officer or at the SWE office (Boelter 6266J) or download it »here.
  2. Fill out your information on the form
  3. Bring cash or a check made out to SWE-UCLA with completed form to Jessye Palladino
    1. $20 for 1 year membership, or
    2. $50 for Collegiate to Career Membership
  4. Email SWE at »swela.membership@gmail.com to confirm your registration (please attach a copy of your receipt)
After becoming a SWE Nationals member and sending your confirmation to »SWE-UCLA (if done online), then you will be able to reap the benefits of being part of SWE-UCLA! Thank you for joining SWE!
