Information on the First Midterm Exam (4/30/02)
As announced in class, the first midterm to be held on Tuesday,
April 30, 2002
will cover all material from the beginning of the quarter
THROUGH the introductory material on Flow Kinematics
(including descriptions of Lagrangian and Eulerian reference frames
and velocity and acceleration, i.e., the
material completed on Thursday, 4/18/02).
An outline of the topics of focus will be presented in class on
4/25/02; please also consult the
course outline for details.
The exam is open to
ONE PAGE (8 1/2" x 11", two sided) of notes written in your OWN HANDWRITING.
At the end of the exam, this page will be turned in with your exam copy.
Please bring with you a pencil, eraser, and CALCULATOR.
NO extra paper is needed, nor is a blue book needed.
The locations for the exam will be as follows: for LAST NAMES BEGINNING
WITH A-G, room 5273 Boelter Hall; for LAST NAMES BEGINNING
WITH H-Z, room 5249 Boelter Hall.
