How to access Gmail while traveling in China
--------------------------------------------

As far as we know, you will need to connect to UCLA VPN, first,
and you should be able to use Gmail.
 
Please test your UCLA VPN connection before you leave:
	- test it from your laptop
	- test it with your cell phone

And, just in case, print out 2-step verification Backup codes from your G Suite's 2-step verification:
        From your G suite account
        Click your account logo at the top-right
	Click "Google Account" (I think it was My Account before)
        Click "Signing in to Google"
        2-Step Verification
        find Backup codes section and click SETUP
        it will show you 10 Backup codes then print it

    Then, when you sign in to google with your @seas.ucla.edu G Suite account,
        when it prompts for 2-step verification codes,
        you can click "More options" and use one of the Backup codes
