Example: G Suite Sync for Microsoft Outlook In this example, assume you have: - emusername@em.ucla.edu (an Exchange account managed by Campus) - gsusername@hsseas.ucla.edu (G Suite account managed by SEASnet) and, you want to manage both accounts in Outlook. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to do it: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART 1: Installing GSSMO on your PC (this requires admin priv) at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gappssync click "Download G Suite Sync" Run it to install it. PART 2: Configuring GSSMO on your PC (done by user) *) Create G Suite Sync user, first: click Start button and find G Suite Sync user app Start G Suite Sync user If it complains it can't run it while Outlook is running, just start Outlook and Exit from it [popup window] Please sign-in to G Suite Sync Email address: Email address: (example: gsusername@hsseas.ucla.edu) Continue It will make you Sign in to the G Suite account It shows: G Suite Sync for Microsoft Outlook wants to ... click Allow [popup window] Create a G Suite profile in Microsoft Outlook [ ] Import data from an existing profile [ ] Send crash reports and usage statistics to Google Do not select any just click Create profile click "Start Microsoft Outlook" [popup window] Choose Profile Profile Name: gsusername@hsseas.ucla.edu - G Suite OK When Outlook starts, it will only have the g suite account for example, you will see g suite - gsusername@hsseas.ucla.edu (replace gsusername with yours) click calendar and you will see your google calendar *) Add your @em.ucla.edu account click File, choose Add Account E-mail Acccount Your Name: (enter your name) E-mail Address: (example: emusername@em.ucla.edu) Do not enter password, click Next will get a popup window, click More choices, click Use a different account User name: (example: ad\emusername, or just emusername might work) Password: (enter password) OK Finish ! You must restart Outlook Exit from Outlook and start it again [popup window] will be prompted for emusername@em.ucla.edu User name and Pasword enter User name and Password check Remember my credentials OK *) You will see both emusername@em.ucla.edu and gsusername@hsseas.ucla.edu mail click calendar -- see both calendar You can see both calendar side by side but I don't think you can sync both calendars.
