Image slider at the home page: Divi slider
Technical details
How to prepare slides
- The images should be at least 1000px by 450px.
- If you need help, please email External Affairs.
- External Affairs recommendation:
- We recommend against using portraits or images of whatever the latest news is in that main,
giant 1000 x450 space.
- Instead, those portrait-type pictures should go under "latest news" on the left-hand
side of the page.
- The photos in the 1000 x 450 space should be maybe more general, more
interesting photos that can stay up for months at a time.
- The benefits of this plan are:
- The best and most interest images can occupy the biggest space, and make the page look most enticing.
- There will be less pressure/focus on the portraits and other photos that accompany news stories, because they will run smaller on the site.
