High-throughput (HT) Catalyst Synthesis and Screening Systems

Fully Computerized Micro-Robotics Reactor System for Catalyst Screening* Close-up of the 80 channel micro-reactor sub-system*
CPA

*Fully integrated windows-based operating software with user friendly GUI
HT Reactor System

*On Left: Side-view of the reactor block- On Right: (A)array channel microreactor; (B)heated capillary samping probe; (C)gas chromatography and mass spec analysis (see images below); (D)catalysts; (E)temperature-controlled stainless steel heating block; (F)thermal insulation
20 channel array microreactor sub-system* Fully computerized micro-jet liquid dispensing system for impregnation
CPA

*When sealed, each channel in the microreactor is separated, allowing for sampling of effluent gas from each individual catalyst.
HT Reactor System

*After upto 6 pre-determined quantities of stock solutions are dispensed into 300 wells, support pellets or powers are placed to affect impregnation.
Gas Chromatography(GC) and Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry(QMS) for rapid catalyst evaluation* High-throughput pulsed laser ablation (PLA) system to produce metal nanoparticles*
CPA

*Micro-GC enables the complete analysis of gas samples using 2-4 different columns each with dedicated thermal conductivity detectors (TCD) for fast and high sensitivity catalyst screening. QMS enables ultra-fast gas analysis and screening.
HT Reactor System

*PLA system consists of 20 rotatable targets for combinatorial nanoparticle catalyst preparation, and 30 substrates for enhanced throughput.
