Directions from LAX to UCLA
The closest major airport to UCLA is the Los Angeles International Airport, LAX. From LAX, take Century Blvd. to the 405 Fwy (San Diego freeway) North. Take the Sunset Blvd. exit and go east to the UCLA campus.
Directions to UCLA Faculty Center and Parking
From the 405 freeway take the Sunset Blvd. exit and go east. Turn right on Hilgard Avenue then turn right on Westholme (the second traffic light) and enter the UCLA campus. Go to the parking (Parking Lot 2) and information kiosk to your right and ask for parking directions. The Faculty Center is the first building on your right. Generally, one can park at UCLA by buying a permit ($7) at any information kiosk. Parking permits are required 7 days a week, from 7am to 9pm, and usually this is (unfortunately) well enforced. Parking permits are paid and reserved for speakers at information kiosks. Speakers only need to tell your name, then get your parking permit for the day at any information kiosk.
